Late last week, the big winner of the 2022 World Series of Poker Online Event #13: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em was announced.
Player Nicknamed “Bckdrboogie” Wins WSOP Online Event #13
Overall, the tournament attracted 365 entries which generated a $328,500 prize pool. The total number of players that participated was 231, while 134 rebuys were completed during the event. In the end, according to PokerNews, a player nicknamed “bckdrboogie” was the big winner of Event #13: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em.
As the winner, the player collected a WSOP gold bracelet. What’s more, bckdrboogie won the grand prize of $69,740. Little is known about the winner of Event #13 besides that they played from the United States. Other than that, unlike other players that participated in the event, bckdrboogie did not hint what his real identity is.
Event #13 from the WSOP online attracted a big field of players that included WSOP bracelet winners. Such players included Michael “BrockLesnar” Holtz, WSOP bracelet winner Ryan “Protential” Laplante, as well as Andrew “WATCHGUY42” Lichtenberger. Sadly, none of those players made it to the final table after being eliminated early.
The Event Offered Plenty of Prizes for the Top Players
Focusing on the final table, Dan “Feeltheflow” Sindelar, a player from the US ranked eighth and went home with $7,555. Just above him was Desmond “Deezz_Nutzz” Haynes, who went home with a five-digit prize just like all other top players. By taking seventh place, Haynes collected a $10,216 prize.
Anthony “Venus” Hu was the player that ranked sixth and collected $14,026, while just above him, ranking fifth was Benjamin “chaipoker” Abrahams. He collected a $19,217 prize for taking fifth place. The fourth place belonged to Mitchell “franzia” Halverson, who bet646 went home with $26,608.
Andrew “DrDisRespect” Dean was the player that ranked third at Event #13: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em. Dean collected a $36,726 prize. An inch away from the winner’s position was Mark “Nostradonkus” Liedtke. In the end, the heads-up play was between Liedtke and bckdrboogie. Liedtke was eliminated and took second place, collecting a prize of $50,260.
