PokerStars brings 1st Anniversary Series to Pennsylvania

It’s hard to believe that a year has already passed since online poker launched in Pennsylvania via PokerStars. Online poker has been booming in the state, with PokerStars being the sole provider. This month, PokerStars celebrates a year in service by providing players in Pennsylvania with its 1st Anniversary Series. From November 8-16, the series will offer 35 events with a total of $1 million in prize money up for grabs.

Details of the Series

The Anniversary Series will begin with Event #1, the $100 NLHE 8-Max, Series Kick-Off. This event will have a prize pool of $25,000. On that same day, players can take part in Event #2, the NLHE 8-Max PKO, featuring a $15,000 prize pool.

Each day of the series, online poker players in Pennsylvania will have access to multiple events. The Main Event is the largest on the schedule, featuring a $100 buy-in and $200,000 in guaranteed prize money. A Mini Main Event is also on the schedule, with players able to compete for $20 and $25,000 in prize money on offer.

PokerStars announced they are very excited to be bringing the first Anniversary Series to Pennsylvania. Since the site began in the state, players have gained access to new and exciting options including the Sunday Special, PASCOOP, PACOOP, and the PennsylMANIA.

Bounty Builder Series

The Anniversary Series comes just a short time after the Bounty Builder Series began for international players of PokerStars. The Bounty Builder Series is a 7BALL world-wide event, featuring 213 events with over $30 million in total prize money up for grabs.

The series finished up on October 25 after starting on October 11. For weeks, players took part in small and large online poker events, enjoying all the Bounty Builder Series had to offer.
